Arrive at Paro International Airport, one of the world's most scenic landings. Meet your guide and drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital. Settle into your hotel and take an evening walk through the city.
Spend the day exploring the cultural landmarks of Thimphu.V isit National Memorial Chorten , where locals gather for prayer , and continue to Buddha Dordenma , a giant Buddha statue overlooking the valley . Later visit the Folk Heritage Museum and the National Institute for Zorig Chusum . End the day at the Motithang Takin Preserve , home to Bhutan's national animal.
Travel toward Punakha , crossing the scenic Dochula Pass at 3,100 metres. Walk among the 108 memorial chortens and enjoy Himalayan views before descending into the Punakha Valley. Visit Punakha Dzong , one of Bhutan's most beautiful fortress monasteries.
